The Scholar’s Key with Donovan Colquitt

Summary

Today in the GRIND chair we welcome Donovan Colquitt, the Founder and Author of The Scholar’s Key: How You Can Unlock Your Dreams As a Teen. As a senior in high school, Donovan was inspired to write a book to help teenagers, young adults, and parent scholarship potentials on how to receive scholarships. Due to Donovan’s GRIND as a student, he was able to secure over 1.25 Million is scholarships for himself.

In this episode we discuss how his educational GRIND has led him to pursue a PhD in Engineering Education to help increase college access and success for underrepresented minoritized youth, with the emphasis on STEM Education.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor in the field of Mechanical Engineering
